대학 2학년 때인가? 정확치는 않지만 대략 그 때쯤이었다. 그 당시 과외를 해서 돈 좀 벌었고, 매월 받는 과욋돈으로 시디를 사곤 했었다. 그 때만해도 MP3가 그리 활성화되진 못했었다. 주위에 안군 이외에는 별다른 음악적 조언자가 없었을 때, 학내 음반가게에서 뭘 살까 고민하던 중 같은 학부 동기녀석이 지나가면서 추천해 준 음반이 있었는데, 정확한 제목은 기억 나지 않지만 브릿팝을 모아놓은 컴필레이션 음반이었다. Oasis, Rialto와 같은 브릿팝 대표곡들을 모아놓은 것이었는데, 그 중에 내 귀를 집중시켰던 노래가 바로 이 곡이다. 처음 들을 때부터 확 느낌이 왔다. 기분 전환이 필요할 때, 꿀꿀할 때 한번 들어보시라... 뚜뚜뚜 뚜 뚜루뚜루~
